Former Texas Ranger Link Carter rides into Singletree, and straight into trouble. Deputy Burton pulls a gun on him, prompting Link to fire in self-defence, and he's thrown into a cell. Turns out it's a case of mistaken identity - Nick, his twin, is wanted for bank robbery. However, Link knows his brother, and can't believe he would ever do such a thing. It has to be a set-up - but how can he prove it?
