Each of the first five Doctors has been removed from his time-stream and, with one unfortunate exception, brought to the Death Zone on Gallifrey. There, along with several of their loyal former companions, they encounter an array of deadly obstacles. Daleks, Cybermen, Yeti, the Master, and a lethal set of puzzles are among the challenges that lie in wait. But even when they reach the Dark Tower, one question still lies unsolved.
