Books have been burned, records destroyed, schools closed and personal freedoms abolished. There is, though, one relic of the 20th century which has survived into the present and it is a demented, even more powerful medium than ever before... Television. But this is television in a new and twisted fashion where the most popular program on the air is a game show called The Running Man - a deadly, futuristic cat-and-mouse carnival in which contestants battle for the ultimate prize: survival.
