Isla Milne intends to stay with her relatives in Woodbridge only until she has put her life back in order. But then she meets a group of local artists, amongst them talented sculptor Jed Rowley. Soon she becomes integrated in village life and involved with the summer school at Rowley Grange, and things take on an interesting dimension as she builds new and discovers old connections in the area. Meanwhile, Isla finds herself becoming increasingly attracted to Jed - but he is already dating the glamourous and possessive Nicole...
